Beds. The room was centrally heated and we were given very warm duvets. In addition, there were plastic sheets on the beds. We could not sleep as it was far too hot.
Clean and modern
Not enough staff on. 1 Person needed on check in permanently.
Layout of the reception and dining areas
Room, staff and welcome was excellent even though we arrived quite late.
It is close to a main carriageway so not a great view and could be noisy but we both slept well.
Close to a wedding we wre going too. Friendly and helpful staff. We had no TV at all on the first evening and the electric had to be turned off in order to rectify this, but the young lady was very apologetic and got it sorted as soon as she could.
I found the holding amount of £80 somewhat confusing as this amount showed on my mini statment as paid then i paid my full bill on departure. However, i have only noticed the actual amount coming out of my account.
Clean, quiet, comfortable - not the first time I've stayed at an Ibis, and won't be the last.
Out-of-town location means you have to have a car or face a long walk.
Hotel was clean but overall the experience was poor.
The Hotel had a large group staying who played music and partyed in their rooms all night It was Very Very Loud . We and many other guests complained to the front desk who apologised but said there was nothing they could do about it. We had no sleep whatsoever on the Friday night. Ibis should be refunding this nights accomodation.
Hotel rooms were very clean & new.
The staff was very helpful. They just took long on everything.
The bed was uncomfortable, the air conditioning was not working, the breakfast did not look very nice, there was not enough towels in the bathroom, it took a long time just ro put the tv on.
Everything you could need for a basic hotel was available
It was convenient and not far from the m5. Also reasonably priced and with a 24 hour garage a 2 minute walk away if you wanted a shop.
The staff were extremely helpful and lovely. The whole place is very clean and quite new. The hotel was close to where we needed to be and we very kindly got late check out without an issue. I would stay again.
There was no free Internet connection in the room, only one computer in the main lobby with Internet which you could use 15 mins at a time.
My daughter and I stayed at the Ibis in Gloucester as we were visiting from Cornwall looking at livery yards in the Hartpury area. She will be starting at Hartpury college in September so I'll be keeping an eye on prices in case I want to visit her. The hotel was a pleasure to stay in and the staff were friendly and helpful. On Monday morning whilst having breakfast downstairs, the girl on duty was having a hard time from a customer. She handled it very well and was polite to him. I'm not sure I would have been in the same situation! He was complaining about there not being any white bread!
It suited the purpose of our stay, which was a family party, and was therfore affordable.
The room was decorated well.
The food in the restaurant was in edible - awful. Booked.net used the wrong postcode on the booking details. You should amend the last letter from a G to an E.
